Role : Storyboard and 2d animation
I was called to join the set of Dolittle in London to be part of the post vis storyboard team. We worked with VFX Supervisor David Shirk and the editing team on set at Shepperton Studios, to deliver storyboards and 2d animation of the main furry characters of the film.
Here you can see a selection of some of the shots I worked on that are on the public domain.

When storyboarding I always reduce the characters I am working with to the bare minimum of volumes that will make them readable and recognizable, yet easy to animate. When working in live action this can be extra challenging but extra useful too. Here you can see the line up I created for my self for the chess sequence in Dolittle, both as reference for me and to start the conversation with my VFX supervisor.
