OutpostVFX joined forces with Disney and Propel to create the trailer that will bring the magic of flight to a whole new dimension with this Star Wars high performance laser battling quads.
From the very first steps of the creative process, we created this trailer full of excitement and mystery, as a product reveal for Propel, Disney and LucasArts.
Our creative approach was to play with a beautiful and abstract piece, slowly bringing mystery and anticipation to these highly sophisticated pieces, full of the excitement of the Star Wars universe. Our goal was to accentuate all the strength and power of the recognizable shapes of this universe and reveal them slowly, playing with the ambiguity of scale and the mood and light. The artist Vesa Lehtimäki was a huge influence for the language and refinement of the images.
